A new leader with new ideas. A little about Zach: Zach worked in the college archives as an assistant. He maintained and organized records, preserved historical artifacts, and converted documents to digital formats. In 2006, Zach was 1 out of 20 students nationally selected to intern for the United States Attorney Office in Washington D.C. He was assigned to the Public Fraud and Corruption Division. This allowed Zach to: Prepare evidence for court, transcribe interviews, store and file court documents, attend court cases, and prepare legal briefs. He worked for a non-profit in Arlington, Virginia where he wrote grant proposals, maintained records, and correspondence. These skills could be used for state grant writing. Zach was asked to manage campaign offices for the Republican National Committee and the Illinois House Republican organization. He was responsible for media request, worker management, and calendar planning. Zach has managed critical offices in high stress environments. He came home to help take care of his father and started working on his Master's Degree at night and substitute taught to help finish his degree quicker.
